When choosing a gift, you should take into consideration the age, gender and interests of the recipient. Keep in mind that jewelry is always fashionable for women.

In choosing gifts for friends, look for something which is not personal in nature, for example, stationery, pen and pencil set or picture frames make excellent gifts.

Also keep in mind a person's financial position. Don't give a gift the value of which the recipient feels they couldn't reciprocate should they choose to do so.

A Mid-Summer Night's Dream

This classic Shakespearian tale goes into action as two young lovers runaway together into an enchanted forest. Here, Hermia and Lysander hope to get away from Hermia's father Egeus, and soon get married. Also coming along, is Demetrius; the faithful love-sick follower of Hermia who has her father's approval. However, Helena who absolutely adores Demetrius follows him, hoping to gain his affection. As complications arise, and two fairy monarchies get involved, a complex entanglement of love, hate, and mischief reigns.

You can see this tale come to life from September 1 to the October 24th at the Chadwick Playhouse when the London Players present Shakespeare's A Mid-Summer's Night Dream on stage. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 P.M. and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 P.M. Tickets may be purchased at the theater box office daily from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
