A dinner party isn't complete without a rich dessert and here is one that your guests won't stop talking about for a long time to come.
There is nothing that goes better with a meal of beef than a rich, rice pudding. We've added the recipe below.
A Rich Rice Pudding
1 cup cooked rice, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 cups milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Combine rice, sugar, cinnamon, butter or margarine, milk and vanilla in 4-cup baking pan. Bake in oven or in dutch oven over an open fire for about 20 minutes. Stir gently. Cook another 20 minutes or till creamy-thick. Serve warm or cold with cream if desired.

Looking for that special gift for the man in your life? Everything for men this season can be found in leather, but if you are looking for something different, here are a few suggestions for that very special man.
A tobacco box, elliptical in shape in polished silver, small and invaluable to the man who likes an early morning pipe or a quiet smoke at day's end. There are also inkstands in crystal and cut glass, with silver stoppers, some with finely polished silver trays to be placed underneath them. And what man can go without a pair of folding opera-glasses, small enough to fit inside one's coat pocket.
